Art theft forces end of The Waiting Room Gallery
The group show A Delicate Balance goes back in time to 2006, when the School of Visual Art MFA Class in New York hung an exhibition put together by noted curator Dan Cameron at the David Zwirner Gallery in Chelsea. One of those long-ago students happens to be Waiting Room curator Dan Drossman.
Dan Drossman is honored to announce a collaboration with esteemed curator Dan Cameron for the next exhibit at The Waiting Room Gallery. A Delicate Balance is a show about the progression of art, artists, and time. The public is invited to an Opening Reception on February 18, 2022 from 6-10 pm at this non-traditional gallery space located in 3258 Larimer Street, a quaint commercial office building in RiNo.
So Much Real, Michael Dowling. Shown in Myths
The Waiting Room Gallery continues its record of strongly curated shows with two solo exhibits scheduled to round out 2021 and welcome in the new year. Despite its status as an “alternative art space” the quality of art in the bright, airy corridors of 3258 Larimer Street in RiNo rivals that of any traditional gallery and continues to introduce well-regarded artists from other parts of the country in addition to locally known artists.
In this episode, Wes and Todd sit down with Denver Artist and Curator, Dan Drossman. Dan talks about the “alternative art space”, The Waiting Room Gallery, that he has been curating, the catalyst for the Waiting Rooms existence, exhibitions – past, present and future.
